Yuriy Shapoval was born on August 17, 1984 in the village of Pryluky, Ukraine. He graduated from the National University "Poltava Polytechnic". In 2015, Yuriy Shapoval's painting "Hryhorovych Against" appeared on a postage stamp issued by representatives of the Ukrainian Association of New Zealand. The work "Girl with a Bird" adorns the head office of "Baykar" in Turkey. Personal exhibitions in the cities of Poltava (2010, 2020), Mariupol (2012), Obzor and Pomorie (2012, Bulgaria), Kyiv (2013, 2014, 2017), Lviv (2014, 2018), Kropyvnytskyi (2015), Ivano-Frankivsk (2016). His works are kept in museums and private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Slovakia, Germany, Poland, Italy, France, Canada, the USA and other countries.
