Alexis César Tápanes Orsa (Matanzas, Cuba, 1963) Graduated as an Art Instructor in the specialty of Theater at the National School of Theater Instructors (ENIT, 1989), a profession that he has practiced for more than 10 years, obtaining multiple awards and recognitions. Later he was linked to pedagogy and taught Theater Design classes to young Art students. Since 2001 he has been dedicated to painting and participates in individual and collective exhibitions. He also makes designs and illustrations for magazines and other literary editions. His works have been acquired by collectors and gallery owners from Cuba, the United States, Canada, Argentina, Chile, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Sweden and other countries.
